it seams that cropping and resizing tool doesn't work on joomla 3.9.4 (last version available) and PHP >7.x (it works on older PHP versions like 5.6.xx).
I used both version (275 276 and 207 208). Chrome.
Could you please confirm this issue and fix it?

Dear Ryan, thanks for the quick response!
It happens that when I try to Apply the crop, the loading modal appears for a while, but the crop doesn't work. Save and Undo buttons are disabled as nothing has happened.
In the cache folder the cropped/resized image is correctly created

We think we have found out the issue. The problem is due to a notice printed by joomla that generate some dirty in json response.

Please try to activate Notice alert in your PHP.ini.
