I cannot see the Captions Icon in the editor controls. Am I missing something?

I found it was an older version of JCE. I uninstalled it and installed the latest version but now I do not see the caption button nor any others that are available in the layout editor.

Hovering the mouse over the blank area revealed the alt text eventually so I have found captions. Still don't know why the additional icons are blank

Blank in the editor toolbar or in the Features & Layout area of the admin?

Any change if you clear your browser cache and refresh?
