Hi Ryan

I have been using JCE Editor Pro 2.8.0 for a couple of days. It seems as if the variables for «Setting the File Directory Path» do not work any more. For example images/$username or images/$usertype or images/$profile. By the the way: I don't quite understand what's the difference between $username and $profile. And it would be a nice feature if a variable $usergroup exists.

Kind regards
Chris

I just found out, that the order of the JCE profiles is vital. Which is not very understandable to me. Re-ordering the profiles seems to have resolved the issue.

$username is the username of the user who is currenty using the editor.

$profile is the name of the editor profile that is being used.

$usergroup does exist, and is the same as $usertype, ie: the Joomla User Group the user is assigned to, eg: Author, Editor, Publisher etc.
