Hi
in former releases of JCE Pro we had an option in the profile's toolbar settings where we could tell JCE to use separate dialog boxes instead of embeded popups when (for instance) we clicked on the 'link' button.

This possibility is now gone.

Can we have the same result from another setting somwhere else please?

Thanks

Cyril

JCE only uses inline modal windows for all dialogs.

Is there any particular reason you preferred the browser window dialog?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Hi

thanks for the answer.
We need the browser window dialog because some other components (SEBLOD here) is already using a dialog box to display the JCE editor. So when you click on a toolbar icon you get a dialog box inside a dialog box!

the former setting where you could use the browser window dialog was here extremely useful !

thanks

I have made a plugin that returns this functionality - https://github.com/widgetfactory/jce-editor-windowpopups

You will however need to install JCE Pro 2.7.19 RC1 or later for it to work properly - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

Hi Ryan

perfect! it's working as expected thanks a lot !!

Do you plan to keep the plugin on github or will it be downloadable from https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads ?

thanks

I haven't decided yet. Perhaps this should be JCE Pro only 😉
