I have a number of users that I restrict to their own category. Put them in a group and allow acces to a single category. Works super. I do so because I do not want to give them admin acces. They logon at the front.

They can create messages, but upon saving, the whole article changes in one giant block of text. Stripped from pics, html codes. etc... When I make them author it works, but they then get full access to all categories (what I don't want). How can I enable full editor acces for users in this group? Am I overlooking something obvious? Thanks in advance...

This sounds like a Joomla Text Filter setting. In the Joomla Global Configuration, click on the Text Filters tab, then set the Filter Type for Registered to Default Blacklist.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
