I have had a go at fixing this. Please try JCE Pro 2.6.25 Beta 1 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/category/development
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

In your example you are selecting the image, then copying and pasting the image. You need to select the link (a tag) that has been applied to the image to copy and paste both. You can select the link using the Path at the bottom of the editor.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
Are there now some changes being done?
Probably related to fixing this bug - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/forum/94778-setting-class-to-p-tag-in-table-cell-bug
I will investigate.

The issue was introduced with the Copy/Cut changes in beta5 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/forum/94586-copying-paste-paragraphs#reply-94674

I have installed 6.2.25-Beta-1 and now it is ok again - the attributes are now again copied with. Great
Are there other changes to be rolled back?
But the handling remains inconsistent.
When copying an image, it is now enough to mark the image and all attributes are copied with.
If to copy a text with attributes (i.e. p-tag), you have to go over the path.
In this sense, the solution going over the path when copying with attributes, looks like it is basically the right one for any cases - it avoids the break in handling, but it is a bit another way as users work normally with the mouse-right-popup-menue.
Maybe it is a good solution to have 2 copy-entries in the right-mouse popup.
One for copying only the element (text, picture, etc.) itself and one to copy all with it's attributes.
I'm finally not sure what the right way is now.

I found another copy-issue and make a new topic.
