Have recently purchased JCE Pro. When using Image Manager Extended I cannot access an image folder outside the JCE default image folder.
How can I access or set the 'Image Manager Extended' to access images outside the root of the website?

Try this plugin - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/plugins/item/server-filesystem
After installation, go to Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Image Manager Extended, and select Server - Filesystem from the Filesystem list.
Set the Base Directory and Root URL values as required.

Thanks for the help shown below which I have managed to configure on my remote 'live' site. However, despite experimenting with various settings I still can't configure it to work on my 'localhost' .
I have an c: drive 'xampp' installation with my 'document_root' set as 'D:\websites\.
Can anybody please help me find what the 'basedir' should be set at ?
