- not able to create a link in the mediabox popup caption text anymore
I sometimes added a link in the mediabox popup caption text via the format <a href="">text</a> , but today I discovered that it doesn't work anymore in my configuration. Everything as of the < sign is removed after saving the article.
using tags like <i></i> still work to create italic text by the way
Not sure when adding a link in the way I did stopped working, as said I use it not all the time, but it seems to be caused by one of the recent updates; bu tI might be wrong of course.
Any advice / solution?
thanks

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
Is the code still visible when you click the Code tab, or the toggle editor button, or is it only removed on saving?
FYI - You can include a link in a popup caption just by adding the link URL. You do not need to include the <a href=""> code.

after I inserted the code it is still visible when going straight to the code tab, but when switching again to the editor tab all code after <a href= is gone ; so, only the <a href= remain
and it is not visible any more when toggling the code tab either
so all this before even saving the changes made.
indeed when I insert a weblink it does link to the intended website/page, but it doesn't look as nice as when having a particular word or words being linked to a certain website/page; at least in my opinion

When you add the link to the Popup Caption field using the Image Manager Extended, the link is encoded, ie:
becomes
If you are adding the link in the source code view, you will have to enter in the encoded version yourself.
<a href="/link.html">A link</a>

Hi Ryan, thanks for the offer to dive into this, but for now I am okay with the current situation; it is not an absolute must-have option, so unless it starts annoying me I can live with adding the full weblink as part of the caption, when needed.
Thanks again
