Hi Ryan,

when doing a ctrl-c operation, I get some unwanted div-statements at the end of the copied data.
See video: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/q1p4qnhs50kudnr/2021-04-15_15h08_11.mp4?dl=0

Have JCE 2.9.6-beta4 installed.

Ryan
Does this happen with any text, or just "source" code from RegularLabs Sourcerer?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

... this happens with any text, but only when using the Insert-operation.
I made a video which shows three cases.
1. Pasting the clipboard-text directly via Ctrl-c -> ok.
2. Pasting the clipboard-text via "Insert as cleartext" operation -> ok.
3 Pasting the clipboard-text via "Insert" operation -> failed.

Which browser are you using? Does this happen with a different browser?

If you look at the Path at the bottom of the editor, those div tags have very specific classes, which are not JCE related. I suspect this issue is caused by a browser extension.

Good morning Ryan,

thanks for your investigation.

I use the Chrome-Browser and you're right, it is a side effect of an installed extension named:

Image Resolution 0.4.0 - Extension to show image size on hover in a minimalistic way

After making it inactive, all is well now.

Have a nice day and weekend.
