JCE 2.9.1
Please find attached system information, if you should require it. ( Well, I thought I would but neither extension .txt nor .php was a "supported format" so was unable to.....)

I have installed JCE into Joomla 4's latest version.
Saving new settings from JCE > Editor Profiles > (default as installed) > Editor Parameters > various setting are saved without any problems.
However,
Saving new settings from JCE > Editor Profiles > (default as installed) > Plugin Parameters > no settings are saved.

I understand that this is "Alpha" but thought that this might be of interest to you.

I'm not seeing any issue in my tests. Please try JCE Pro 2.9.2 RC - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

It's working fine with 2.9.2 RC. I wonder that it might not have been my over-worked eyes making me see things!!!
