Hi!

I read this wish in the forum already - but it seems, that it's still open.

(How) is it possible to show charcter-counting in the editor path?

I can see the word counter - but charctercounting would be by far more helpful.

In my case I'm using JCE within a public catalogue built with SobiPro. The Textarea-fields are limited to 500 / 1000 characters. So a feedback to the user /charcters used / left) would really be nice.

Character counting is not currently available, but I am looking into the possibility of adding this to the Word Count feature, where you can choose between Word or Character counting, with as a parameter, or by clicking on the current count to toggle word or character.
