Hi,
a client just told me that they recently were able to insert multiple images with popup but that this stopped working with one of the recent updates.
I tried this as admin and can confirm that this does not work. Since i never made use of the functionality i did not know. Can you try with the latest version and tell me if this is an issue on your side?
Best regards, Max

Ryan
This is working in my tests and on the demo site - https://demo.joomlacontenteditor.net

Can you replicate the issue on the demo site?

Hi Ryan,
i checked out the demo site, used extended image manageder and tried to insert multiple images by first clicking on one image and then checking some more images. When i click on insert afterwards, only one image gets inserted to the page. So it does not work on the demo site for me. I use current version of firefox: 77.0.1
I also tried chrome. Same there.
Is there an other way to insert multiple images into the page?
Thanks in advance, Max

Ryan
Inserting multiple images requires you to click the Insert Multiple Images button in the right-hand toolbar, after selecting the images, but I have changed the workflow for this as it can be confusing.

Please try JCE Pro 2.8.13 RC2 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development - and use the same method as you used before on your site and the demo site, ie:

1. Select an image to insert by clicking on its name. The URL field should then be filled with the image url.
2. Select additional images by clicking their checkboxes.

Hi Ryan,
I really did look for a button almost everywhere. I was sure that this kind of functionality could not go missing.
Thanks, with the release candiate it works just fine.
