Hello,
since version 2.8.1 I see "Internal Server Error" as a result of backend Joomla installation.
When I re-install 2.8.0 at the same Joomla - everything OK and green, but 2.8.1 and 2.8.2 - red notice "Internal Server Error"...although it seems JCE installed properly when open Components - JCE Editor.
I can't catch what is wrong - but such an alert does not look good.
Environment - Apache 2.4.6, PHP 7.2, MySQL 5.5, Joomla 3.9.13.
Please, cross-check such an issue,

Dear Ryan, I found the reason.
During some tests I've disabled plugin "Extensions Joomla" and forgot it.
When enabled - everything is OK with installation.
So the matter is solved,
