Hi Ryan,
when editing the pic-parms of an already existing picture it opens a IME-popup with four tabs.
-> Picture / Rollover / Extended / Popups
Picture-tab is first opened -> picture
The file in the url-field is auto-selected in the file-manager window - that nice and very helpful.
But when selecting the Popup-tab, the entry in the URL-field is shown, but there is an auto-section in the file-manager area not for the file specified in the URL-field. -> picture
The auto-selection should better be like this -> picture
That would be very useful, specially when the path/filename is very long and the filename could not be seen in file-manager at all.
Is there a chance to get this feature?
regards hgh

Hi Ryan,
Sorry, but I mostly work with Chrome, that's where that feature works too.
How about a compromise? Forget all that stuff with the option.
At the moment, the filling and autoselection only works, by
But how about an trigger to the file-mangers-autoselection, when changing content in the popup-URL-field?
I think that can be done more easier by something like an "onchange- or onmouseclick-event".
So the autoselection then is triggered, when filling-in or changing the field-content or the field gets a mouse-click.
The benefit is:
If the new content in the URL-field isn't in the same path as the file-manger act. points to, it will be much easier to switch directly by the #-button, because you didn't have to scroll all that file-manager stuff for a selection to make a change to the pic.
This is an IE Edge specific feature, and is therefore not supported.

1. When you first open the popup-tab the URL-field is set to the main-image. I think this should be so controlled by an new
IME-Option: "Set Popup-URL-field to base-image" Yes / No
If the option is "No" or the URL-field is cleared by mouse, there should be a text in the URL-field like "Please select a picture".
The current method is simpler. To populate the Popup URL field, merely select an image while in the Popup tab.
Too many options and dialog prompts is confusing for users.
a) You click into the URL-field and select an entry from the browsers given selection-list -> picture
! In this case the file-manager needs to be updated to the path and filename !

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
Hi Ryan,
after installing JCE 2.7.0 RC7 all looks good.
Thanks for the development.
But there is some fine-tuning to do.

b) You select to an entry in the file-manager window. The path/filename then must be filled into to the url-field.

Hi Ryan,
you got it. That looks very good - thanks.
... but when will that be ????
I'm waiting so long for that version, because you told me in march/2017 about that.
-> see
-> JCE: format-painter-tool missing
-> ...
But until now, you always produce 2.6.xx Updates.

Ryan,
we are not together yet.
I mean the situation, when I select the popup tab and there is already an image in the URL-field.
Then the File Manager entry points to a file that is not a part of the URL field. Even if you click on the URL field, the file manager does not update.
So - I think - it is better and much more comfortable, that when opening the pop-up tab, the file, that is in the URL field, is automatically selected in the file manager.
Btw. what's about the "Responsive"-Tab in your screenshot?? In my IME it is not there.
