Hello,

if i upload some pic, the exif data that is uploaded with it, is giving me a headache. I set the radio button for Remove Exif to yes, but still the image still contains the exif data from before the upload. How come? How can i solve this? Is this due to an Apple camera device (Iphone SE)?

Thank you.

The feature is dependent on a few common PHP extensions, which your server might not have installed.

I have tested 2 images on your site - a stock photo and an iPhone SE photo - and both had their exif data removed on upload. This was checked using exiftool on macOS and the site you used - http://www.verexif.com/en/ver.php

What pixel size (width x height) is the file you are having an issue with?

Is the EXIF data removed on smaller files?

The files i tried to upload are visible on https://tastycreations.be/v1, these pics should be shown in portrait.

i stored them for download in this zip https://tastycreations.be/images/groensels/2018/v1/withoutexif/exifpics.zip.

The pics are taken with ios (iphone) but i want to convert them/ upload them on a windows pc.

Thank you.

As you see i didn't work yet to get rid of exif data.

can you help me? Thank you.

The basic Image Manager does not remove EXIF data on upload.

I have added the Image Manager Extended to your "Default" profile. This will remove the EXIF data from images on upload (tested with 20180510.jpg)

Hello,

i downloaded the Image Manager Extended, but where can i install it (on an other site)? Where can i find the JCE Installer, which is already an installed plugin.

Thank you.

Image Manager Extended is already included in JCE Pro.

You can add the Pro buttons you require in Editor Profiles -> Features & Layout - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/faq/plugins/buttons-missing-from-the-editor-toolbar-after-update
