Hello,

Since last update(s) I have issues when creating a link to an article in Joomla.
Adding a normal link to a page is working just fine. However if I create a link to a specific part of another page by adding /#1234, the link is changed. As a result the link does not work anymore and an error page is shown.

Example
https://mywebsite.com/?view=article&id=609:adr-hoofdstuk-2-1-classificatie-algemene-voorschriften&catid=36:deel-2

Adding such a link without /#1234 at the end is just working normally

When I add the specific part of the other page however, the link is suddenly being changed to this :

https://mywebsite.com/component/content/article/adr-hoofdstuk-2-1-classificatie-algemene-voorschriften?catid=36:deel-2&Itemid=243/#2.1.2.8

This link however does not work. Seems that the part

?view=article&id=609 is changed into component/content/article

I have installed the latest version of JCE pro and also tried the latest beta version.

The latest version where things went well is 2.9.5

Best regards
John

When you add the fragment to the url, ie: the #1234 part, you don't need to add the slash. So the link should be:

https://mywebsite.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=609:adr-hoofdstuk-2-1-classificatie-algemene-voorschriften&catid=36:deel-2#1234
This link however does not work. Seems that the part ?view=article&id=609 is changed into component/content/article
This is done by the Joomla SEF router when the article is rendered in the front-end.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Thanks Ryan. I was not aware of the fact that the "\" was not needed. Untill release 2.9.6 it worked just fine. However seems your solution is also working so problem solved.
