I am experiencing a problem with inserting links to contacts via JCE 2.9.7. It links to the wrong contact. It was working correctly when last used on March 4th. I update extensions regularly so I believe the JCE version then would have been 2.9.3.
I've tested inserting a link with TinyMCE and it work so I assume that the problem lies with JCE.

The attached images show the problem. In the JCE links dialogue I select contact with surname Griffiths as the contact and the URL inserted has the ID as 14 however the correct ID for this contact is 42. This results in the link for Griffiths leading to the contact details for person with surname Rees. If I manually change it to 42 the link works.

I've tried this on a test site and it has solved the problem. Is the Beta version stable enough to install on a production site? If not when do you think it will be released?

Yes, there aren't that many big changes in this dev release so far, so it should be fine.
