Hello Ryan,
this has probably been suggested before - just can't find the post.

A helpful function in the Image Manager Extended would be the ability to add whitespace around the image, to expand the canvas with a color one could choose from. This would be immensely helpful and would pretty much eliminate the need for basic external image editing.
