Hi,
is it possible to limit access to certain folders which have the same name and which are recurring in several folders?
Let me explain, I have a folder that is dynamically created for images that are resized, this folder that I will call 960x540 is created multiple times in my folder hierarchy and it is not always in the same place.
Is it possible in JCE to limit access to these folders without specifying the exact path but rather specifying only the name of the folder?

Here is an example, I would like to limit access to 960x540 folder without having to specify the path each time:

images/kino-media/kino-images/cinema/croatia/dokukino/intro/960x540
images/kino-media/kino-images/cinema/belgium/cercle-du-laveu/intro/960x540
images/kino-media/kino-images/cinema/germany/b-movie/intro/960x540
...

Many thanks,

Lorenzo

In Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Filesystem, add

intro/960x540
to the Directory Filter field.

Hi,
it doesn't seem to work, folders are still visible/accessible ...

iorbita
...any idea about my issue?
Here a short screencast to illustrate my problem: http://u.pc.cd/vm4
The access are limites to a specific group.

Thanks,

Lorenzo

Currently you can only limit access to a specific folder path, not an individual folder somewhere in a path, so for example you can set:

images/kino-media/kino-images/cinema/croatia/dokukino/intro/960x540
and

images/kino-media/kino-images/cinema/belgium/cercle-du-laveu/intro/960x540
in the Directory Filter field. The paths can contain variables, eg:

images/kino-media/kino-images/cinema/belgium/$usergroup/intro/960x540

oh, from your previous post I thought it was possible to target just part of the path which would have been perfect, it's problematic if I have to specify full path each time since folders are added progressively with different names.

"cercle-du-laveu", "dokukino" folders are cinema names not users group, what I meant was that this limitation to folders access is only for a user group ... anyway, apparently at the moment there is no a real solution ... 🙁

Please try JCE Pro 2.9.3 Beta 8 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development For the Directory Filter field, to filter by a specific folder name, add a * in front of the folder name to filter by, eg:

*960x540

Just use the value "banners" not "images/banners" in the Directory Filter field.
