Hi!

Have changed settings so svg-images is a permitted file extensions in Image Manager Extended, File Manager and Joomla Media.
It works fine to upload a svg-image with Image Manager Extended and select the image and add it to a Joomla article.

But the image is not visible in the article in editing mode or published frontend.

What am I missing?

Matt

Joomla 3.9.24

Does this happen with all svg images, or just this one?

It happens with all svg-images, added as images.

But if you scroll down the page you see the purple check marks, they are svg-images, but svg-code added in the editor.

I am able to embed svg images using the <img> tag, but I am getting the same issue with your svg image. The svg examples here - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/SVG_examples - work for me too, so perhaps there is a problem with your svg images?

I don't know enough about svg to know where the problem might be unfortunately.

Thanks Ryan for your support!

But I´m still struggling with the same problem, despite that I have tested with a couple of your suggested svg-files.

Can it be a db problem, encoding? "utf8_unicode_ci" should work...

This is not a critical problem, but it had been very nice for my colleagues to have the opportunity to easy change colors for icons.

Your file - the flask svg - does not work when I test it, but the Wikimedia examples, and other svg files I have, do work.

The <img> tag should be able to display the svg from the url, as you would expect, and JCE inserts the tag as required - https://css-tricks.com/using-svg/#using-svg-as-an-img

Thanks for your support Ryan!

Will not spend more of your and mine time at the moment.
Might have a look at it after the update of our hosting.
