Hi,

In Profiles > Plugin Parameters > Image Manager Extended > File Directory Path
I have
$username

Good. But still, when users submit articles (from front-end - they don't even have back-end access), the image (which was inserted via drag&drop, much easier to explain to the end-users) is simply savec in the "/images/" folder, not in a subfolder with the username.

I don't know what I'm missing to make it work :)
(I hope I don't have to create the folders beforehand: I have 1000+ users 😃 )

Do you have the Image Manager and Image Manager Extended buttons in the toolbar? If so, remove the standard Image Manager button.

Alternatively, in Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Filesystem, set the File Directory Path to include the $username variable, so it applies to ALL plugins and uploads.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

oh gosh!

Actually the previous webmaster had set there
$username
and that is why it was not working: actually it only works when typing for example this:
images/$username

Txs, you put me on the right way :)
