Hey there! We're having a problem that we've not come across before when using JCE with ATS. We are currently getting a circular reference error when trying to create a new ticket on the front-end using the JCE editor:

Failed to import file "/home/sites/4b/1/1f4cdeb7d2/university/components/com_jce/editor/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/skins/modern/ui.css": circular reference detected.
We are also using Akeeba Admin Tools, and this occasionally prohibits access to certain directories which causes problems until exceptions are put in place, but in this instance, we've completely disabled Admin Tools and reverted back to the default .htaccess as supplied by Joomla. We are using: Joomla: J3.9.24 JCE: 2.9.1 Pro ATS: Akeeba Ticket System 3.5.2 We're asking here instead of over at the Akeeba forums because the 'New Ticket' pages work fine with any of the stock editors. Any help you could give would be most appreciated! Thanks in advance for your amazing support. Todd

Does this occur when creating or editing an article in the front-end?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Ahh, that is a very good question, and yes it does!

Ryan
Which Toolbar Theme do you have selected in the editor profile?

Retina Touch.

Please try JCE Pro 2.9.2 RC10 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

Ok, the pages are loading, but the editor's not there at all. It's working fine on the back-end, but on the front-end, when adding an article or a new ticket, the WYSIWYG editor is just a textbox.

Of course! Form completed and mail sent. 🙂

Ryan
It's working fine now, but I had to disable the template's CSS & JS Optimization.

If you enable these, you will need to set exclusions for JCE files.

That is brilliant, thank you so much! We may need to have the optimisation on, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it.

Thank you again for your excellent support!
