Giuse
Hi, I write the very simple attached text in JCE 2.9.2 beta 4.
I save it and JCE does not detect code block (1st problem). Then I cut and paste the 3 php lines and now code block is activated.
Then duplicate the 3rd line and save: the added line gets stripped and the second line gets duplicated.
Could you pls see and eventually fix?
thanks

Giuse

I am not able to attach the file, and also writing it here does not work (after hitting "Reply" nothing happens...) maybe because there is some php code?
please see link

Please try JCE Pro 2.9.2 Beta 5 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

fixed, thanks

I have a similar problem. When I install and use either 2.9.1 or 2.9.2 Beta any <iFrame>...</iFrame> I add to an article gets completely deleted when I tiggle between HTML view and normal Editor View. When I fallback to version 2.8.18 everything works just fine - nothing gets stripped.

What have you set for Allow IFrames in Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Media Support?

All "Allow" settings are set to "Yes" - - Note that If I don't toggle from HTML source mode I can successfully save the article with the <iFrame> content intact. It only strips the iFrame when I toggle to Editor mode

I just installed 2.9.2 Beta 9 and it did not fix this issue.

Ryan
Please post a screenshot of the code you are attempting to add to the editor.

Screen Capture of <iFrame> code that gets stripped is attached.

Done...

Ryan
On your site, the Allow IFrames option in Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Media Support was set to No, which is why the iframe was being removed.

I have set this to Yes on your site to resolve the issue.

Thank you! I should have seen that setting and figured it out myself... 🙁
