I can't find the JCE permission in the Joomla Post - tab "Images and Links" Field: Introduction image

To be able to upload further file types like PDF files!

Where can I set these. I cannot find you in the profiles.

Those fields in the Images & Links tab are for selecting images to display in an article, and so are restricted to selecting images.

For other file types, you will need to create a custom Field, and use JCE File Browser field type.
