The new feature: "Shortcode inserted into the editor, eg: is now protected from processing by the editor, ie: it will no longer be wrapped in a block tag such as a paragraph or div. An option is available to disable this in Editor Profiles -> Editor Parameters -> Advanced." is causing a lot of layout issue everywhere in our website that using {} tag for plugins.
What on Earth does that protect? It is creating issue than protection, it should be OFF by default and let admin to enable it if they see fit.
For example: with AcyMailing, it has this tag to insert the subscriber name {subtagid:fname}, so in our newsletter body text the header always says:
Since that new feature is enabled, it will remove that tag from the <p> tag and it will automatically look like this:
That is only in one component, what about other components that uses shortcode tags? It does break a lot of page layouts because that new feature. What does it actually protect?
Thanks,
Jackson

I had the same problem with loadposition !
With the new JCE version (2.8.17) the {loadposition} works like before the update to version 2.8.16!!
Thanks.
