I know that one of the recent changes to JCE limited the kind of content you can paste in the editor - but is there a way to turn off this functionality? This is only for super admins, but it would be very useful to have it back.

I can't find the info for this, so can someone point me in the right direction?

The only restriction added recently to pasting was to remove all event attributes from pasted content copied from an external source. You can override this by setting the Allow Event Attributes option in Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Clipboard.

Please see - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/faq/editor/allow-event-attributes-in-pasted-content

In addition to this, event attributes are restricted in content generally, unless the Allow Javascript or Allow Event Attributes options are enabled.

Please see - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/support/faq/editor/event-attributes-removed

You will need to enable both options to use event attributes in content.
