i want to change to colour of tekst in an Article, but i can't choose any colour, the drop down arrow is gone....

First, please upgrade to JCE Pro 2.8.15 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/latest
From the Joomla Admin Menu, go to Components -> JCE Editor Pro -> Profiles, then click on a profile to edit, eg: "Default"
Click on the Features & Layout tab, and scroll down to Current Editor Layout.
Drag and drop the Text Color buttons from the Current Editor Layout toolbar into the Available Buttons & Toolbars toolbars.
If there is a different set of these buttons in the Available Buttons & Toolbars, drag and drop them into the Current Editor Layout at the position you want them.
Click Save & Close.
