Hello,
One of my clients tells me, that since a few weeks his plug-in Insert/Edit file rarely works.
The pop-up shows, but no folder tree, no files.
Strangest thing is that it works sometimes, but very rarely.
The client tried on 5 computers of his company, with various results: sometimes it works, mostly it doesn't.
The server error logs show nothing.
When I try to reproduce the issue on my own station, it works flawlessly.
My only guess is a weak internet connection on their side.
Do you have any experience with this type of problem?
Would you like to have access to admin, FTP?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Ryan,
The problem seemed to be solved, but finally wasn't.
Funny thing is that the File Browser works correctly, but the File Manager doesn't.
See also the attached screenshot.
But ... when I cleaned the Joomla cache, everything was okay.
Could this be caused by JCE updates?
Thanks in advance!

Only if an old file was somehow cached, but this shouldn't happen. My original thought was that a folder path stored in a cookie was invalid, which may have caused the first error.
If yhis happens again, please see if the browser reports a javascirpt error in the console. This might help to find the cause of the problem.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.
