Is it possible to remove the "new template" button from the template manager. I'd like to setup a central repository of templates, but I don't want users to be able to add templates to the folder.

An option is available in Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Template Manager, in the Permissions section, to Enable or Disable Template Creation.
