We use DPCalendar on some of our sites. In this calendar extension we add activities. Each activity has a tab multiple tabs when you open them. There is an JCE editor on multiple tabs.

When we insert content using the taskbar 'Joomla' button nothing seems to happen. But then I noticed the content was added to the last JCE editor instance, instead of the on on the opened tab.

So I guess there is an issue with linking the editor button to the right content pane when there are multiple instances of the editor in one view?

Maybe this also happens when extra tabs / editor fields are added to an article./ I have not checked that.

Please try JCE Pro 2.8.3 RC6 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development/jce-pro-2-8-3-dev

Hi Ryan, After installing the dev version it looked like it worked fine, but after reports from our users we checked again and we noticed that some of the content plugins did work and with ohers the content was still placed in the last editor in the view.

We did install the latest release today. But we still see this issue.

Can you have another look at this? If you need access to one of our site, please let me know.

Kind regards,
Jip

I have send you account details for a demo sites we have. You can reproduce this issue like this:

- Go to DP Calendar
- Create an new activity
- Use the editor on the tab 'Content' to test the Joomla content editor button. There are a few buttons there.
- The second editor on this view is under the tab 'Booking'.
- On the first tab, when you insert the 'content template' (Regular labs content templater) it is added to the other (Booking) tab editor. Same for the edocman button.
- Other content items are placed in the right editor window. ( for example the menu item).

Hope you can figure it out!

Kind regards,
Jip

In the CMS I send a account for I have also added a custom article field using the editor. So we have an extra tab on the articles that also has an editor. I can not reproduce the error here. So I think this is somehow related to the DP Calendar view?

Ryan
This appears to be working on your site now with JCE Pro 2.8.4 Beta 2 - https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/pro/development

Please confirm.

Hi Ryan! This seems to be soved now. I also tested this on another site. Great!

I did notice that the content that is added is inserted at the top of the editor, not where the cursor is located. Is this the right behaviour? I would expect the content to be inserted at the spot where we place the cursor and then click the editor content button.
