I switch to the JCE code editor and do a search.
As soon as I press Enter, the whole JCE interface disappears. The search is not performed. And you have to click on the on/off button at the top left to make JCE reappear.

Tested on several Joomla 3.9.14 sites with JCE 2.8.2
