After update to JCE 2.8 on Joomla 3.9 PHP 7.23
button T -to insert plain text- does not work anymore.

It does not open, or you can't insert the text you paste in?

Button opens, but I cannot paste text with CMD + V (Apple command)

Using Safari: I tried on your demo site, but CMD + V does not work, there is no cursor

In Google Chrome and Firefox it works, also it is a Safari issue

Ok, looks like Safari is becoming the new IE :(

Will fix this in the next update.

Yes, I have more issue's with Safari. Working in backend of Yootheme Pro is horrible.
I think of leaving Safari.
