Hello,
I use JCE Media manager custom field to insert images, is it possible to assign a name to "alt" attribute? ... otherwise alt attribute remains empty ... 😮

Thank you,

Lorenzo

This is currently not possible, as an additional value for the alt attribute would require an additional field, on top of the image url field.

I am looking into this, and hopefully will have a solution in a future update.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

I hope in a future version because I think it's a lack too important ...

... and the idea of being able to insert the alt attribute in a second phase from the file browser would also be an alternative?

Hello again,
I don't know if you have seen my last post .... why not give the possibility to add alt attribute once the image is already published? This could be a solution...

Thank you,

Lorenzo

No, as this has no use outside of this one context, so I would prefer to add an Alt field to the form, adjacent to the existing Image field.
