Hi,
And when I am uploading a file (e.g. 12Mb zip) through the frontend, its return the error: "The server returned an invalid JSON response"

JCE Editor Pro 2.7.19
PHP Version 7.2.23
Joomla! 3.9.12

Thanks a lot

Ryan
Do you only get this error when uploading in the front-end? If yes, is this the same user that is able to upload the file in the admin?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

euroidea
Yes, in the front-end.
The user as publisher upload only in the frontend
I tried with a smaller file (3Mb) and the upload was successful

Ryan
Can you upload a 12Mb file in the admin area?

There appears to be some kind of other server restriction in place here. If I try and upload a 12Mb image using the Joomla Media Manager on your site, I get a 413 - Request Entity Too Large error, which I also get if I attempt to upload the same image using the JCE File Browser.

Please speak to your host about this.

Hi Ryan,
the hosting company replied that the problem is not them and the Maximum upload size: 128M
(Your server's maximum upload size : 131072 KB)
Thanks

Ryan
This issue occurs in the Joomla Media Manager too, it is not a JCE issue:

If I try and upload a 12Mb image using the Joomla Media Manager on your site, I get a 413 - Request Entity Too Large error

There the issue is either something on your site specifically, or some other restriction set up by your host.

I've been seeing this behavior only with Safari on Mac.
Firefox on Mac does not return this error on same machine.

Do you also get an error uploading with the Joomla Media Manager?
