Hi,

It looks like you have to use the $ mark to create a thumbnail without a Prefix or Suffix.
If you leave the field blank, the system nevertheless puts the text thumb before the filename.

Is this the way how we have to use it, if we don't want any prefix or suffix?

Yes. The are 2 places this parameter can be set, in Editor Parameters -> Filesystem as global parameter, where the default value is thumb_$ (which will be used if the value is left blank), and in Plugin Parameters -> Image Manager Extended, where the global parameter value will be used if this value left blank.

So, in order to have no prefix, you need to input some value, and using $ will omit the prefix.
