Hi,

I'm using Joomla 3.9.6 and JCE Pro 2.7.15.

If I create a new constribution and want to upload a file its possible in /images but impossible in a subfolder like /images/news.
I see the right subfolder. I can choose a file for uploading but than - get an error.

Can someone help me please?

Ryan
Were the sub-folders created using the New Folder option in the Image Manager, or were they created with FTP?

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

The sub-folder was created with FTP.
I will test it with a new folder created by Image Manager.

Later:
Okay, it also is impossible to create a new subfolder even if I allow it in the profil.

I created a new profil only for superusers and allow everything, but its the same:
I can see the subfolder, I have a button to upload, I can choose a file - but get an error.

Thanks for your help.
The problem was not the editor but the file permissions. There was a mismatch between ftp authority and apache authority.

Couldn't send you a login, because it is an intranet.
